About the role
As the National Account Executive you will support the National Business Manager to deliver profitable business outcomes through leveraging company marketing plans and assisting with the monitoring of joint category and business plans. This is a developmental role so you will have the benefit of strong mentorship and support and encourages a career towards National Account Management dependent on your performance and career aspirations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor performance against strategic joint business plans
  • Implement category management principles
  • Analyse opportunities to price, range, promotions and shelf management issues
  • Support National Account Managers for category reviews
  • Prepare account presentations utilising Aztec data
  • Manage promotional scheduling, negotiating optimum slotting and measuring of ROI on promotions
  • Assisting with Supply chain and sales forecasting issues
  • Administration support for price increases, new product lines, claims processing and other ad hoc duties etc
  • Providing data including internal and scan sales, margin, trade spend, and other competitor information reporting

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience as category or sales analyst within the FMCG sector or;
  • Account Manager or Territory Manager with strong analytical ability also considered
  • Excellent analytical skills that enable coordination of data, including MS-Office are essential.
  • Strong Excel skills, numerical skills and knowledge of Aztec data.
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Lead and manage various projects on the go whilst building a wide range of cross functional and external relationships.
  • Confident and approachable personality and an engaging presentation style.
  • Eagerness to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude together with a strong work ethic.
