Job Description

OPS Screening & Crushing Equipment, WA’s leading supplier of mobile screening, crushing, conveying and environmental equipment, currently requires the services of a technical minded and detail orientated Project Support Engineer to join our WA team.


This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to be part of the mining / manufacturing industry and secure a critical role within our growing company.

Reporting directly to the Technical & Service Manager, you will apply your skills and abilities to a vast variety of situations.


The main responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with the Technical & Service Manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
  • Assist the Technical & Service Manager in assigning responsibilities and mentoring the team
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.


Applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Travel to remote site operations across WA as and when required
  • Proven working experience as a project engineer
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualisations software such as AutoCAD
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly with excel
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Understanding of both mining and quarrying standard
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant field.


A full-time permanent position will be offered to the right applicant at a rate of pay that will depend on experience.


Applicants must pass both a Drug and Alcohol Screen and a Pre-employment medical prior to commencing.
