As our new Sales Coordinator – NSW/ACT, you will work closely with and provide administration, analytical and marketing support to all NSW based account management and business development teams, providing effective day to day sales assistance in line with the strategic direction of the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager – NSW / ACT.

You will be the main point of contact for all enquiries regarding sales and marketing for the region across all market segments, and possess a thorough knowledge of each property within the region, assisting the sales team to ensure that all sales and marketing strategies are working with the individual needs of each property.

On a day to day basis, you will;

  • Liaise with various properties and General Managers and other key stakeholders within the region
  • Produce needs analysis of each of the individual properties within the region
  • Assisting the individual properties within the region to build a property specific annual sales and marketing (business) plan
  • Monitor business plans and liaise with RSMM, GM and shared services to ensure all actions are implemented to achieve documented objectives
  • Conduct competitive analysis in consultation with the Regional Yield Manager
  • Liaise with Mantra Group marketing department for the implementation of consumer direct initiatives in the region
  • Co-ordinate the day to day requirements of Regional clients and action as necessary (e.g. special requests, sending client gifts, general communication)
  • Undertake tele-research on sales leads directed by the Senior Area Sales Managers, identifying new contacts and responding to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue
  • Perform general office duties to assist efficiency of department, through maintaining an up to date filing system, circulating relevant industry material etc.
  • Assist with completion of monthly reports for sales and RSMM
  • Respond to all appropriate inquiries on behalf of the RSMM, GMs and sales team
  • The Management of RFP’s from receipt and negotiation through to submission in line with responsible Account Manager / Business Development Manager
  • Loading of rates internally and via the Global Distribution Systems
